IBS Policies Returns:
Please note that written permission is required before returning any merchandise. Requests for returns must be made within 90 days from the date of the invoice. Credit will be given only for books received in original sale condition. We regret that no credit can be given on shipping charges. There will be a 10% restocking fee for all returns. All non-book items (i.e. tapes, videos, posters, etc.) are non-refundable. If there is a manufacturer defect, we will replace the defective item with the same item or, if unavailable, we will refund its price. If You Have a Problem with Your Order: As much as we try to prevent them, mistakes can happen. If you feel that there is a discrepancy, please notify us within two weeks of the date of invoice. We regret that no adjustments can be made after two weeks of the invoice date.
Damages in Shipping:
IBS is not responsible for merchandise damaged in shipping. We ship through United Parcel Service (UPS). UPS is responsible for damages to packages they ship. If your merchandise is damaged in shipping through UPS, please notify UPS immediately, and please inform IBS as well. For items shipped by U.S. Mail at the customer's request, please note that orders mailed by the post office are not guaranteed and will be solely the customer's responsibility.
Delivery:
Please supply a street address (UPS will not deliver to Post Office Boxes). Allow 2 to 3 weeks for delivery by UPS. Rush orders (UPS 2nd Day Air or U.P.S. Next Day) will require a premium shipping rate in addition to a rush charge of $5 for orders of $10 to $100, and a rush charge of $10 for orders over $100. This cost will be included on your invoice. All orders sent by UPS are guaranteed arrival to destination; however, orders mailed by post office are not guaranteed and will be solely the customer's
responsibility.
Refunds:
For returned items or overpayment, please allow ten (10) business days for credit to be applied to your account after receipt of returned goods. You may apply this credit towards your next purchase. If you request a refund, please allow six weeks for your refund check (subject to approval) to arrive.
Back Orders:
Any item that is out-of-stock (0 shipped) will be left to the customer's discretion to re-order after ten weeks. (At this time there are no back orders; therefore, all out-of-stock purchase orders should be canceled).
